Executive Coaching

A lot of people look to you with high expectations of growing your nonprofit. They look to you for answers and explanations. Usually this doesn’t end at 5 or 6 or 7 when you close the office door behind you and go home. No wonder your stress level is high and you don’t feel fully satisfied even after putting in a long, hard day of work.

How well you manage your own time and other people’s time is imperative to the success of your organization. How well you communicate with your staff, clients, and/or partners is imperative to your organization’s growth. How well you balance your work and personal life is imperative to your personal development and your capacity to lead effectively. Under all this stress, you have to prioritize and make reasonable goals and standards for your organization and for yourself as a manager/leader.

Anthony Silard, leadership guru and author of The Connection, or one of CSL’s Best Practices Leaders, can help you discover what is most important to you and your nonprofit. Through guided conversations and strategic exercises, Anthony or one of our other trainers will help you to create both a personal vision statement and an organizational vision statement. They will then work with you to create realistic and measurable action steps that are aligned with your larger personal and career goals.

Anthony has coached thousands of CEOs, senior leaders and individuals from all walks of life: Fortune 500 companies such as Disney, IBM and Nokia; small businesses; nonprofits such as Save the Children and The American Red Cross; and government agencies such as The World Bank and The Interamerican Development Bank. He has discovered that the key obstacles in an individual’s path always – always – stem from unresolved issues in their past, with their families of origin and/or their past relationships.

To get the most out of your coaching engagement, come ready to open up – in a trusting, supportive, confidential environment – about the issues in your personal life. CSL will help you balance your awareness of your emotional triggers and the places in your life where you have become stuck with the development of specific leadership strategies to practice in your organization and a concrete action plan you can begin implementing right away to achieve your personal and professional goals.

I love Tony’s passion for his topic! I also am very inspired by how he merges many cultural philosophies….I like how he makes leadership a ‘concrete’ idea…I wish the retreat had been longer.

Tony's use of examples and stories always help clarify/illustrate his points – and keep the discussion interesting. What I find most important, is that Tony includes stories from his personal experiences and feelings. To me, that adds a level of authenticity and vulnerability that I see as a commitment to teaching and generosity that is unique.

I think Tony’s approach was good because we had the chance to discuss the different characteristics of a leader….He made us realize that we all have characteristics of leaders in us.

I have worked with 5 national organizations and have had the opportunity to participate in several leadership development programs, all valuable, but none of which compared to the quality and depth of ECPNL...The quality of the presenters was second to none...I highly recommend this Program for nonprofit leaders at any stage of their career.
