Conferences

CSL can create and facilitate a unique conference tailored to the needs of your nonprofit.

With over eighteen years of training and facilitation experience, Anthony Silard, leadership guru and author of The Connection, has created and implemented workshops to cover every aspect of executive work/life. He has worked with new/small organizations looking for “nuts and bolts” training such as resource development, improving staff performance and strategic planning. He has also worked with large established organizations and companies (such as CARE, Save the Children, United Way, Disney, IBM, and Nokia) on deeper issues such as work-life balance, effective communication for managers and leadership style. And he has worked with just about all stages and sizes in between…

Let Anthony and/or CSL’s Best Practices Leaders help you to grow your nonprofit whatever stage it is in. Schedule a conference with The Center for Social Leadership.

There are a few options:

OPTION 1:

Our team here at The Center for Social Leadership will work with you to pick and choose from over thirty workshops to tailor a conference that meets the specific needs of your nonprofit, your profession, your location and/or your current circumstances.

  • Pick the conference length
  • Choose the Leadership Workshops you want
  • Tell us where, when and how many participants
  • Together we create a conference specifically designed to fit your organization

OPTION 2:

Choose a general theme (e.g. “Communication and Team-Building”) and we can put it all together for you.

  • Pick the conference length and general theme
  • We propose (and you choose) the Leadership Workshops aligned with that theme
  • Tell us where, when and how many participants
  • We bring you a conference specifically designed to fit your organization

Our most popular conferences are two-day events or week-long events. You can choose what is right for your organization:

•    1/2 Day
•    Full Day
•    Two Day
•    One Week

I love Tony’s passion for his topic! I also am very inspired by how he merges many cultural philosophies….I like how he makes leadership a ‘concrete’ idea…I wish the retreat had been longer.

The workshop has really helped me to identify my blind spots. After this conference I will have an inclusive decision-making style. I will avoid the ‘I know it all’ attitude.

I have worked with 5 national organizations and have had the opportunity to participate in several leadership development programs, all valuable, but none of which compared to the quality and depth of ECPNL...The quality of the presenters was second to none...I highly recommend this Program for nonprofit leaders at any stage of their career.

I believe that many of us learned a lot more than we anticipated we would. Tony’s workshops fueled conversations that continued through dinners, evening walks on the beach, and late night groups who gathered around wine and intense conversation....Tony helped us regain our focus and renew our passion and vision!

I see myself continuing as an NGO leader because of my skills that I now have after this conference. Tony’s 15 Principles will help me in leading my organization to achieve its vision, mission and goals…This conference was really helpful and it should be organized again for other NGO Directors.

Tony's use of examples and stories always help clarify/illustrate his points – and keep the discussion interesting. What I find most important, is that Tony includes stories from his personal experiences and feelings. To me, that adds a level of authenticity and vulnerability that I see as a commitment to teaching and generosity that is unique.
