The Young Leaders Program is the only youth leadership program in Washington that provides career-building leadership skills exclusively to low-income youth. Many participants will be the first in their families to attend college.
Sponsorship Levels
$200
Partial Youth Sponsor
Provides curriculum, transportation and snacks for for one low-income Washington D.C. youth to participate in CSL’s Young Leaders Program.
$500
Half Youth Scholarship
Provides half a scholarship (CSL will match you with another sponsor to provide a full scholarship) for one low-income Washington D.C. youth to participate in CSL’s Young Leaders Program.
$1000
Full Youth Scholarship
Provides a scholarship for one low-income Washington D.C. youth to participate in CSL’s Young Leaders Program.
Major Gifts Program
The Center for Social Leadership's Executive Advisory Board is currently overseeing a Major Gifts Program to raise scholarships for low-income Washington D.C. youth to participate in our summer 2009 Young Leaders Program at George Washington University. To see our current progress, click here.
